[Photo] Medical examination for people in Muong Khuong highlands

This is the first time the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital has organized a campaign with a series of activities to examine, give gifts, and distribute free medicine to people in the highland communes of Muong Khuong district. The campaign will last until the end of April 2025.

At 6:30, the delegation arrived at Lung Vai Commune Health Station. The doctors quickly transported supplies, coordinated with the health station staff to properly arrange the reception areas, examination and consultation tables, medicine and gift distribution areas so that the medical examination could take place most smoothly. Essential medicines and supplements were prepared to be sent to the people.

At 7am, people from all the villages near and far such as Ban Sinh, Dong Cam, Trung Tam, Tao Giang, Bo Lung, Na Lang, Coc Lay, Giap Cu… gathered at the medical station to be examined by doctors. Children were also brought by their parents and grandparents. This was a good opportunity for people to be examined directly by provincial doctors in their locality.

Young doctor Tran Tien Thanh, Department of Therapy, contributed to the free medical examination campaign and shared: Participating in this meaningful activity, with a high sense of responsibility, we not only examined but also listened to people's sharing to better understand their difficulties, learn about their health care habits and daily activities to be able to advise and share to help people raise awareness, prevent diseases, and promptly improve their health.

Doctors examine and advise on rehabilitation for people.

With deep expertise, doctors have enthusiastically screened and detected early forms of disabilities for 240 people.

In addition, people are educated by doctors on health, timely advice on care and rehabilitation in the community for people with disabilities and their families.

The Rehabilitation Hospital also provided a large amount of medicine for free distribution to the people on this occasion. In addition, many meaningful gifts were also given to the people on this occasion.

In the coming time, doctors from the Rehabilitation Hospital will extend the campaign to communes in Muong Khuong district so that people, especially the poor and those in difficult circumstances, can receive attention, examination, consultation, and health care.
