Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee joined the Government delegation to work at DP World

Delegation of Phu Yen province attended the 14th Annual Investment Conference (AIM 14) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the theme "Forwarding the Future of Global Investment: New Wave in the Context of Globalized Investment - Towards a New Balanced Structure".

On the sidelines of the AIM 14 Conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan also joined the Government delegation to work with Mr. Samir Hamrouni, Executive Director (CEO) of the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) and Ms. Nan Li Collins, Director of the Investment and Enterprise Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Continuing the working program in the UAE, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan also had meetings and worked to promote investment with leaders of leading investment corporations in Dubai (UAE) such as Mr. Thomas B. Meier, CEO of Jumeirah Company; Mr. Amman Shah, Investment Director and Portfolio Manager of Dubai Holding Group.

Emphasizing the advantage of being a place with potential to develop resort tourism and high-end real estate, the Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee introduced projects calling for investment in Phu Yen in the field of real estate and resort tourism in the Ganh Da Dia area.

The two sides also had substantive discussions on the feasibility of the projects; at the same time, the provincial leaders also invited the leaders of the above corporations to visit and survey Phu Yen in order to have more specific assessments of the province's potential and strengths, thereby proposing appropriate and effective cooperation plans.

The 14th AIM Conference is an annual event held in the UAE, attracting global investors and businesses. The event focuses on promoting investment and business cooperation between countries and regions.

During the working trip, the provincial leaders also joined the Government delegation to work with Mr. Anil Mohta, Executive Vice President of DP World Group and the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone Authority. The working content revolved around cooperation in developing free trade zones and connecting investors to free trade zones in Vietnam.

The delegation of provincial leaders also attended the Vietnam - UAE Business - Investment Forum organized by your agency in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the theme "Vietnam - UAE Trade Door: Connecting the Right Needs, Cooperating with the Right Partners" on April 10.

Speaking at the forum, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Phu Yen is a locality in Vietnam with great potential for developing the marine economy, with the orientation of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector. In addition to the field of tourism and service investment, the province is calling on potential investors from the UAE to invest in Phu Yen in areas such as infrastructure investment, petrochemical refining, energy, logistics, etc. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his hope that the forum will be a bridge to explore potential cooperation, opening up new directions for sustainable economic development.

Based on the working results, the delegation of provincial leaders in the UAE demonstrated Phu Yen's proactiveness and positivity in calling for investment as well as international cooperation and integration, creating a premise for Phu Yen to approach and develop relations with UAE partners in the future.
