From September 21 to 23, Thanh Hoa province, especially mountainous districts, experienced continuous heavy rains, causing flooding and landslides in some areas and traffic routes, threatening the safety of many households.
Faced with the complicated developments of the flood situation, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard mobilized nearly 1,500 officers and soldiers along with vehicles to stay close to the area, coordinating with the locality to evacuate 356 households, with 1,856 people out of the danger zone.
Border guards continue to maintain forces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and help people stabilize their lives.
