After 12 days of intense competition in the Group Stage and Quarterfinals, the heat of the AIC 2023 international tournament is reaching its peak with the Semifinals and Finals taking place this weekend. From December 23 to 24, the four best Lien Quan Mobile teams will compete together to win the AIC 2023 championship trophy.
The Semifinals and Finals will see teams from the RoV Pro League (RPL) and Garena Challenger Series (GCS) battle it out. RPL champions Talon will face off against fellow countrymen Valencia CF Esports in the first match of the Semifinals, followed by GCS champions Hong Kong Attitude and runners-up Flash Wolves in a rematch of the GCS Summer 2023 Finals.
1.Talon
Talon is recognized as a formidable force in the RPL tournament. 2023 also marks the return of this team to the race for the international throne since AWC 2021, where they won the championship. Notably, Talon has won all matches at AIC 2023 to date and only slipped up twice in the Quarterfinals. Will the RPL Winter 2023 champions once again show their dominance, reclaim the trophy and leave their legacy on the Lien Quan Mobile esports map?
2.Valencia CF Esports (VCF)
Since the early days of AIC 2023, VCF has shown great determination and has been constantly breaking through. Despite only finishing fifth in RPL Winter 2023, VCF has taken advantage of the opportunities they have had to now make history as the first Wildcard team to make it into the top 4 of the AIC international tournament. The remaining teams will have to keep an eye on this dark horse when they officially make their debut in the AIC 2023 Semifinals this weekend.
3. Flash Wolves (FW)
FW has come a long way since winning the international trophy at the AoV Premier League (APL), in the tournament's inaugural edition in 2020. Returning with a completely new lineup, the team defeated the APL 2022 champions Bacon Time 4:0 in the Quarterfinals to earn a ticket to the Semifinals. Although they have never reached the pinnacle of glory at GCS, FW has never given up on their dream of making their own way in international Arena of Valor tournaments.
4. Hong Kong Attitude (HKA)
Similar to Talon, HKA once again set foot in the Semifinals of an international Arena of Valor tournament after last reaching the top 4 at AIC 2021. The three-time GCS Summer champion easily secured a spot in the Semifinals after defeating compatriot BRO Esports in the Quarterfinals with a score of 4:1. Let's follow the developments to see if the 3rd ranked team at AIC 2021 is invincible in the battle for the throne this year.
Semi-final and Final Match Schedule
The semi-finals and finals will be held live at the Military Zone 7 Stadium (HCMC) on December 23 and 24. Ticket holders will receive limited edition AIC gifts and attractive gift codes. At the same time, audiences can also gather outside the competition venue and participate in watch parties and offline events to immerse themselves in the bustling and exciting atmosphere of an international tournament.
Matches on both days will begin at 12pm. Fans from around the world can watch the opening ceremony on December 24 at 5pm with a live performance of the AIC 2023 theme song "Mark Your Legacy" by Myra Tran and SlimV. In addition, a special announcement about Lien Quan Mobile's 2024 plans will also be revealed on the livestream on December 24.
AIC 2023 will be broadcast on Lien Quan Mobile's Youtube and Facebook channels, as well as on the Valor TV app. Garena will also introduce milestone events to help viewers receive additional in-game rewards at each view milestone unlocked.
