Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) and a number of major banks and technology companies participated in the exhibition and display of applications and development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation within the framework of the Conference. As a pioneer bank implementing the policies of the Government and the State Bank, Agribank has taken steady steps on the path of digital transformation, especially when the legal framework is increasingly complete, creating favorable conditions for the bank to develop strongly. Within the framework of the National Conference on Breakthroughs in Science, Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation, Agribank participated in the Exhibition displaying products and services applying modern science and technology. With the orientation of developing retail banking services on the information technology platform, Agribank has focused on strongly developing e-banking services, services applying 4.0 technology solutions, implementing initial tasks to develop digital banking, and implementing digital transformation. In particular, Agribank always accompanies the Government and the economy in policies, strategies, and bridges to realize policies such as "Inclusive Finance", "National Digital Transformation", "Enhancing the application of population data in electronic identification and authentication in the banking sector"... Agribank has implemented Plan 01 between the banking sector and the Ministry of Public Security within the framework of Project 06 of the Government. Agribank has actively collected and cleaned customer data, connected with the National Population Database, and cooperated with the Ministry of Public Security to deploy electronic authentication services via VNeID on the Agribank Plus application. These solutions not only help improve security but also contribute to realizing digital transformation goals. Currently, Agribank's product and service ecosystem includes 220 products, services, and utilities for all customer segments. The popularization of digital finance, bringing the digital banking experience to remote areas, remote islands. Agribank currently has nearly 20 million customers with payment deposit accounts, nearly 16 million customers using ATM cards, nearly 13 million customers using payment services via Mobile Banking channel (counting Agribank Plus application alone). The rate of payment transactions on digital channels at Agribank is up to more than 96%, strongly promoting non-cash payments. In 2025 and towards 2030, Agribank has developed a digital transformation plan with specific goals: 80% of customers use electronic payment services, 70% of disbursement decisions, small retail loans are made automatically and digitally, developing a digital ecosystem and modern distribution channels to serve the payment transaction needs of customers in all regions. At the same time, Agribank has and continues to invest heavily in information technology infrastructure, upgrading data center systems, servers and security networks, ensuring the stability and safety of IT systems. Recognizing the importance of science and technology and digital transformation in the current period, the Party Committee of Agribank issued Resolution No. 01-NQ/DU-NHNo on "Enhancing science and technology innovation, aiming at the goal of digital banking, meeting the requirements of modern banking management" with the general goal of effectively taking advantage of the opportunities brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution to accelerate the research and application of digital technology in all aspects of operations, enhance management capacity and improve the quality and efficiency of banking operations; build Agribank into a modern, leading retail bank in Vietnam, contributing to the banking industry's successful implementation of national digital transformation. Agribank is also well aware of its role in thoroughly grasping and implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, not only to meet the requirements of digital transformation but also to affirm its role as a leading bank in the field of agricultural and rural finance. Agribank aims to build a modern commercial bank model, integrate internationally, operate safely and effectively and be ready to transform into a joint stock commercial bank. Agribank is also committed to investing heavily in modern technologies such as AI, IoT, Cloud computing, to improve service quality and develop superior products based on a modern digital ecosystem. In particular, the bank is accelerating the deployment of smart transaction points to serve digital citizens and digital businesses in smart cities and international financial centers. In addition, Agribank focuses on building a training strategy, improving the quality of human resources, and developing a digital culture within the organization. All these efforts aim to create a strong driving force for innovation, contributing to national economic development and enhancing Vietnam's position on the global financial map.
