Total number of visitors reached about 635,000, up 48.7% over the same period of Tet 2023. Total tourism revenue reached about 588 billion VND, up 51.2%.

In Ninh Binh, during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday of Giap Thin 2024, 596,000 people visited. number of visitors, up 50.1% compared to Tet 2023, including over 115,000 international visitors, 3.9 times higher than in 2023. Revenue reached over 850 billion VND, an increase of 54.5% compared to Tet 2023.
Typically, on the 4th day of Tet, Ninh Binh province welcomed 209,783 visitors, including 35,168 international visitors and 174,615 domestic visitors; on the 5th day of Tet, it welcomed 178,685 visitors, including 29,712 international visitors and 148,973 domestic visitors.

The average room occupancy rate during Tet is 80-85%, many accommodation establishments reach 100% room occupancy rate on the evenings of the 3rd, 4th and 5th of Tet such as: The Reed, Hoang Son, Vedana, Emeralda, Minawa Kenh Ga, Tam Coc Garden, Hidden Charm, The Vissai hotels, Hoa Lu hotel, Milan hotel, homestay establishments....
Talking about activities serving tourists and people, Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, said that during the Lunar New Year 2024, Ninh Binh province organized 5 fireworks display locations attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and enjoy.
In addition, the Department of Tourism coordinated with units to organize the Old Tet Festival and the tourist gift market with 80 booths displaying and selling food, drinks, Tet flowers, handicrafts, decorations, and gift products, souvenirs and OCOP products of the province.
