According to the investor, there is currently a section of the river flowing in an arc shape along the mangrove forest to Ke Bridge (Thanh Hai) about 1.5 km long that has not been dredged and reinforced. This item will be considered for investment in the overall Hung Vuong wetland ecological park project.
Phan Thiet mangrove forest has existed for a long time, located between three wards: Phu Thuy, Thanh Hai and Phu Hai with a total area of about 32 hectares. After being destroyed for shrimp farming, in the past 16 years, this forest has regenerated, creating a large green area with many types of mangrove trees: mam, duoc, ban... growing strongly. In the forest, there are also many specialties such as freshwater shrimp, ba khia, lich, dop xanh, brackish water fish... Recently, many species of birds and storks have also come to live here, creating a diverse ecosystem.
