Nguyet Chicken Pho
Located at Phu Doan Street, Hoan Kiem District, Pho Ga Nguyet is affectionately called a “gem” in the heart of Hanoi by the Michelin Guide for its delicious, unchanged flavor for 14 years.
What makes Nguyet Chicken Pho special is the broth simmered from bones for 12 hours. The chicken is imported from reputable wholesale markets, going through a strict selection process to ensure deliciousness and tenderness, combined with soft, smooth pho noodles that can conquer the most demanding customers.
A bowl of pho at the restaurant costs from 35,000 to 65,000 VND. In addition to pho soup, the restaurant is also famous for its rich chicken pho, served with roasted peanuts and homemade sauce. The restaurant is open from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Pho Ha
Located on Hang Hom Street, Hoan Kiem District, Pho Ha is one of the oldest chicken pho restaurants in Hanoi. Despite its modest location on a narrow sidewalk, the restaurant is always packed with customers from afternoon until midnight.
The chicken here is local chicken, boiled just enough to keep its chewy texture, fragrant, and not mushy. The soft rice noodles, combined with green onions, herbs, and hot broth create a well-rounded bowl of chicken pho.
In addition to pho, the restaurant also serves pho tron and xoi ga. Diners can order additional soft-boiled eggs, gizzards, or shredded chicken to go with it. However, these toppings tend to sell out quickly.
With prices ranging from only 30,000 - 45,000 VND, this is an ideal choice for diners because it is both delicious and affordable.
