On February 6, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee confirmed that five leaders under the management of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee had applied for early retirement.

Accordingly, the officials who requested early retirement include: Dang Ngoc Dung - Head of the Propaganda Department, Dang Van Nghiep - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department, Nguyen Thanh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies and Enterprises Block, Nguyen Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies and Enterprises Block, Nguyen Anh Dung - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Agencies and Enterprises Block.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung (58 years old) has held the position of Head of the Propaganda Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee since November 2020. Previously, Mr. Dung was Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee. If he reaches the right retirement age, Mr. Dung will work for another 4 years.

Mr. Dang Van Nghiep (59 years old) - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, applied to retire 3 years early. Mr. Nghiep was appointed as Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee in January 2024. Before that, he was the Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Radio and Television Station.

At the Party Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, there are 3 cadres and leaders who applied for early retirement. Of these, Mr. Nguyen Thanh (61 years old) retired 1 year early; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam (58 years old) retired 4 years early and Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung (59 years old) retired 3 years early.

The above-mentioned officials and leaders requested early retirement to facilitate the arrangement of apparatus and personnel at agencies after the merger and streamlining.

Previously, in January 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Science and Technology and Mr. Nguyen The Nhan - Deputy Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Ngai province also proactively applied for early retirement and were approved.
