5 outstanding results of Ba Dinh district in the first 6 months of 2023

After reviewing the tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District shared quick information about the socio-economic situation of Ba Dinh in the first 6 months of 2023.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2023, in the context of many difficulties due to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic; in addition, the workload increased due to the decentralization and delegation of authority by the City in the fields of construction investment, natural resources and environment, planning and in the authorization of administrative procedures; but with the spirit of solidarity, promoting democracy, high determination; closely following the leadership and direction of the City, the comprehensive leadership of the Party, the management and operation of the government and the close coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations; The Party Committee, government and people of Ba Dinh district have proactively and effectively implemented the tasks, some outstanding results can be summarized as follows:

Firstly , organized emulation campaigns to celebrate the Party's founding anniversary on February 3, Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring Quy Mao 2023, the peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation, organized activities to celebrate the 980th anniversary of the Thirteen Camps, organized a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th District Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025); announced the decision to dissolve the Party Committee of the People's Party Committee, the Party Committee of the District People's Committee; established 29 grassroots party organizations in Party agencies, unions, administrative agencies, and public service units under the District Party Committee according to Instruction No. 14-HD/BTCTU of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee and Project No. 08-DA/QU of the District Party Committee.

Second, political security, social order and safety in the district are ensured and maintained, not allowing complicated incidents to arise in the area. Estimated budget revenue is 3,220 billion VND, reaching 55.2% of the assigned estimate; Estimated budget expenditure is 662.4 billion VND, reaching 55% of the assigned estimate. Market management and price management are ensured, serving people's consumption needs. Cultural, physical education and sports activities are implemented enthusiastically and practically; social security work continues to receive full, thoughtful and proper attention in accordance with regulations. There are no more poor and near-poor households in the district. The quality of mass education and promotion of key education have achieved many encouraging results. In the 2022-2023 school year, Ba Dinh district continues to rank 3rd/30 in districts and towns.

Third , urban order, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation in the district have many positive changes, clearly changing, creating a spacious, bright, green, clean, and beautiful urban appearance. Continuing to implement the construction of Dien Bien ward as a typical ward in terms of "urban discipline and civilization", the ward police are typical and exemplary in terms of security, order, discipline, and urban civilization, the district is currently expanding and implementing in Kim Ma and Quan Thanh wards. The work of site clearance, implementation of construction investment projects, especially the renovation of old apartments, and relocation of dangerous apartments are closely directed by the district.

Fourthly , the implementation of IT application in the operations of state agencies and digital transformation, step by step building the district's e-government; promoting the use of the Hanoi City Document Management and Administration System and implementing Project 06 of the Government, the issuance of chip-embedded citizen identification cards, activating electronic identification accounts on the VneiD application, and strengthening leadership in fire prevention and fighting are being implemented resolutely and effectively by the district.

As of June 13, 2023, Ba Dinh district has completed issuing chip-embedded ID cards and accounts to 100% of eligible citizens aged 14 and over.
Propaganda and mobilization have been done to 41,301 households/43,848 households in the district to have fire extinguishers, reaching 94.19%. 14 wards have established 132 inter-family fire safety teams, 427 public fire fighting points.

Fifth , administrative reform and administrative procedure control continue to be closely directed; the results of the PAR Index of Ba Dinh district in 2022 were assessed by the city to rank 8/30, up 2 places compared to 2021.
