On May 25, Hue City Police (Thua Thien-Hue Province) said they were working with a group of four teenagers involved in property theft and driving a motorbike carrying four people into a traffic police officer on duty.

Accordingly, at about 9:40 a.m. the same day, at the intersection of Nguyen Cong Tru - Vo Thi Sau Street (Phu Hoi Ward, Hue City), Major Hoang Cong Tu and Captain Huynh Van Luy of the Traffic Police Team - Hue City Police were on patrol when they discovered 4 teenagers driving a Sirius motorbike without helmets and without covering the license plate.
At this time, Captain Huynh Van Luy signaled for the four teenagers to stop their vehicle. However, the group of teenagers did not stop their vehicle and instead rammed straight into Captain Luy, injuring his legs, arms, and tearing his clothes. The group of teenagers fell off their vehicles and ran away. With the help of the people, the task force chased and arrested the entire group of teenagers.
Through verification, the authorities identified the group of teenagers as: Nguyen Van Them (15 years old, permanent residence in Quang Tri); Nguyen Ba Quang Huy, Nguyen Don Hoa (both 15 years old) and Le Dai Nghia (14 years old, all residing in Hue City).
The driver who hit the traffic police officer was Nguyen Van Them.
The car that the group of teenagers drove had the license plate number 75L1-8504 and was stolen by Nguyen Don Hoa in Huong So ward at 2:00 a.m. the same day.
Currently, the Hue City Police are continuing to consolidate the case file to strictly handle it in accordance with the provisions of the law.
