And remember. When fans listen to the old melodies and lyrics but not through the voice of leader Tran Lap, a voice with a strong alcohol content, they are choked with memories of the person who holds the soul of Buc Tuong who passed away 9 years ago.

Although rockers Nguyen Viet Lam, Duong Tran Nghia, and Pham Anh Khoa sing very well, Tran Lap is the irreplaceable voice of Buc Tuong in the hearts of the audience.

Even Buc Tuong in the new stage did not want to look for a voice like Tran Lap to affirm Tran Lap's irreplaceable position.

In the live show celebrating the band's 30th anniversary, Tran Tuan Hung chose to cover the show with images of Tran Lap, alongside the strong presence of the current Buc Tuong.

Tran Lap returned through many documentary films, he also "returned" to sing "May Rain" with Tran Tuan Hung's guitar, a song of memories for the two.

The audience was also satisfied with their nostalgia when they heard Hoang Mario on stage sing Cay Bang with an unpolished but energetic voice.

Thousands of people also sang "The Banyan Tree" with emotion because "this is a song for Tran Lap, because he is a Banyan tree".

Tran Lap also returned to end the program with a video of him singing We are the wall years ago. And of course, Road to Glory, the song Tran Lap has lit a fire in many generations of Vietnamese youth over the years.

During the 3-hour long live show, Tran Tuan Hung - the new leader of Buc Tuong had a sad moment. That was when he heard Pham Anh Khoa say that some audience members left early.

By the second half of the show, some of the "older" audience gradually left. They were probably the ones who loved "The Wall of Tran Lap's time" so much that they were less open to the Wall of the present, to the new compositions, Balance, Passing Summer, October, Peace, Green Rose...

Or simply, "they were busy with something, they had a stomachache" as Tran Tuan Hung explained and was happy with the young audience who still loved him and decided to continue with Buc Tuong as long as the band did not stop.

They acknowledged the efforts of Tran Tuan Hung and his brothers but still hesitated to step in.

30 years of a rock band, the audience to their shows probably reached millions. But all the band members have never made a living from their music, but all live from other jobs.
