The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued Document No. 6828/UBND-NC on allowing fireworks to be set off on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
Accordingly, the province agreed that 3 localities: Ha Tinh City, Hong Linh Town and Ky Anh Town are allowed to shoot low-altitude fireworks with a duration of no more than 15 minutes on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
The fireworks display is organized on an appropriate scale, with socialized funding mobilized by localities. The Provincial People's Committee requires localities to be responsible for ensuring security, order, economy and absolute safety for people and property during the fireworks display.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant units to guide localities, organize the transportation, storage and firing of fireworks in accordance with regulations, ensuring absolute savings and safety; assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities, especially: Ha Tinh City, Hong Linh Town and Ky Anh Town to direct forces to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting before, during and after the fireworks display.
Ky Anh Town is one of three localities permitted by the Provincial People's Committee to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
In the plan to organize the activities "Welcome New Year 2024" of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, there is also the Countdown program - "HA TINH WELCOME NEW YEAR 2024", with many special performances by singers, starting from 10:00 p.m. on December 31, 2023 to 0:30 a.m. on January 1, 2024, at Thanh Sen Square, Ha Tinh city.
The Provincial People's Committee has also assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to consult on a document requesting permission to launch high-altitude fireworks at the program "HA TINH WELCOMES THE NEW YEAR 2024" in accordance with regulations.
