AgroViet International Agricultural Exhibition is an important annual trade promotion event of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector. Following the results of previous years' Fairs, AgroViet 2024 is organized to promote and expand international economic cooperation and exchange, promote brands, products, trade transactions, honor agricultural, forestry and fishery products, OCOP products, and agricultural specialties of localities across the country; is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets.

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center - said that up to now, Vietnam's agricultural exports have reached over 200 countries and territories, reaching a turnover of 53.53 billion USD in 2023.
In 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges due to the war situation in many regions of the world, high input material prices... but due to the foundation of restructuring the agricultural sector, good development of the market system and a number of new Protocols signed with China, the export results of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in 10 months reached 51.74 billion USD, forecast to reach over 62 billion USD in 2024, this will be the year with the highest export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products ever.
Based on the positive signals of the agricultural sector, in order to continue realizing the major goals set for growth, sustainable development, and international integration, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development determined to resolutely remove obstacles and open the market for Vietnamese agricultural products through many solutions, including a group of solutions to expand export markets, promote domestic agricultural product consumption through activities connecting supply and demand and connecting consumption - AgroViet 2024 is an event in that group of solutions.
In 2024, the Fair will be held with the theme "Connecting value chains, developing green agriculture, circular economy", with a scale of 256 standard booths, including 99 international business booths, from countries and territories such as: China, Taiwan, Mongolia, Korea, Australia, Russia. Domestic booths come from 40 localities, including: Binh Thuan, Thanh Hoa, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Thua Thien Hue, Dong Nai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Kien Giang, Ha Nam, Hau Giang, ...
The fair displays and introduces a variety of products with many agricultural products, OCOP products, typical local products, typically: ST25 golden swallow rice, Cu Lao Cai sen rice, Bac Giang my chu, Dien Bien jasmine rice, Hong Xiem roasted duck, Chu Hanh black jelly, Chi Lang custard apple, A Luoi beef, Hue sour shrimp, Ben Tre green-skinned grapefruit, Suoi Lon mango, Tan Trieu grapefruit, ... along with many agricultural products and foods from countries such as: Abalone, olive oil, Manuka honey, Australian native flower honey; ginseng, lingzhi mushroom, Korean cordyceps; ...
In addition, the Fair also displays and introduces machines and equipment serving production: Engines, rice mills, lawn mowers, pumps, mini tillers, gasoline chainsaws, tea roasters, tea dryers, tea leaf slicers, mini unmanned aircraft (drones) for spraying pesticides; grain dryers, fertilizers, biological products, organic nutrients, plant varieties, irrigation systems;….
With the goal of strengthening and diversifying market access methods, actively supporting businesses, cooperatives, and OCOP entities to promote agricultural specialties at the Fair, the Fair Organizing Committee coordinated with TikTok Vietnam to organize livestream activities to promote and sell products and services directly at the Fair through social networking platforms; provide technical guidance to businesses, entities opening channels and selling products, transferring operating methods to help businesses access and integrate into the 4.0 technology era. The Organizing Committee believes that the Fair's program will satisfy the needs of businesses and people participating, visiting, and trading at the Fair.
AgroViet 2024 International Agricultural Exhibition will take place from November 20 to November 23 at the Economic and Trade Fair and Exhibition Area; No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Co Nhue 1, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi.
