Today, July 4, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Cuong said: With active solutions with the participation of Party committees at all levels, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, the consensus of parents and the awareness of students, in the first 6 months of 2024, the whole province admitted 209 party members who were students in high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education, accounting for 27.5% of the total number of party members admitted in the whole province (accounting for 86% of students who were taught Party sympathy) and an increase of 190 party members compared to 2023.
Specifically, Dong Ha city admitted 53 party members, Quang Tri town 25 party members, districts: Vinh Linh 32 party members, Huong Hoa 28 party members, Trieu Phong 20 party members, Gio Linh 17 party members, Hai Lang 17 party members, Cam Lo 12 party members and Dakrong 5 party members.
Through monitoring, the organization of the ceremony to admit new party members at the Party cells of high schools was solemnly organized. Participants included representatives of the province, representatives of the education sector, the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of the district level, representatives of the Party committees of communes and towns where people are admitted to the Party, parents of students, representatives of the parents' association and Party members of the school Party cells. Thereby, showing the attention of the provincial and district leaders so that the Party members who are students feel the honor and pride of being in the Party's ranks, at the same time creating a spread in the school and the locality.
“Strengthening the work of developing party members among high school students is a new approach and has initially achieved encouraging results, contributing to achieving the target of developing party members according to the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; at the same time, this will be a driving force to encourage students to have a sense of learning, training and striving”, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Nguyen Phi Cuong emphasized.
