2 big projects in Dak Nong border district have land clearance problems

Reporting to the working delegation, Dak Mil District People's Committee said that the project of the road section from National Highway 14 through the new administrative center to Provincial Road 6 has a total investment of 110 billion VND, the route length is nearly 1.8 km, the width of the foundation is 32 m. Up to now, the project construction progress is estimated at 30% of the contract, the district has disbursed more than 51 billion VND.

The project is facing problems with land. Many households have not agreed to the cash compensation plan. Instead, people have requested compensation in the form of land in a similar location.

16 households in the district have approved compensation plans to support land and construction, but have not approved compensation plans for intercropping and over-density crops.

For the Duc Minh - Duc Manh commune road project, the total investment is 81 billion VND, the route length is 1.7 km. Up to now, the construction progress is estimated at about 40% of the contract, the district has disbursed 44 billion VND.

The district has not yet cleared 644 square meters of land for the project. Some households have not received compensation or handed over the land because they do not agree with the compensation price. The project's land clearance cost has increased by 17 billion VND compared to the approved plan due to increased land prices.

The project still lacks 61,000m3 of fill. Currently, the district does not have an approved quarry, so there is a lack of land for construction.

Mr. Tran Dinh Ninh, Acting Director of the Department of Finance of Dak Nong province, concluded a number of issues related to the projects.
