Of the 550 children screened, 162 were indicated for surgery, including: Lao Cai city 12 children, Sa Pa town 31 children, Muong Khuong 27 children, Van Ban 22 children, Bao Yen 21 children, Bao Thang 10 children, Bac Ha 13 children, Simacai 14 children, Bat Xat 12 children.

The delegation conducted screening examinations for children at Lao Cai City Medical Center.

According to the plan of the Department of Health, the surgery for the above children is expected to be from June 15 to 20, 2025; the surgery location is at Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital.

Children are examined, diagnosed and advised on treatment by doctors.

After surgery, the Provincial General Hospital is responsible for monitoring the patient, post-operative examination, and rehabilitation for the operated person, ensuring good results and patient safety.

In addition to screening activities for children with disabilities, doctors at the Provincial General Hospital and Center II have trained relevant knowledge for medical staff in the area.
