The forum was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; central and local ministries, branches and 450 delegates who are officials and union members nationwide. Among them, there were 95 workers and laborers who were exemplary in creativity and high productivity selected from sectors, localities and units nationwide.
This is an activity within the framework of Workers' Month 2024 and is a typical activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
The forum is an opportunity for union officials, union members, civil servants, public employees, workers and laborers to promote their roles and responsibilities in proposing and recommending solutions to promote national labor productivity, contributing to the development of a prosperous and happy country.
Speaking at the forum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for choosing a very correct, very accurate, very necessary and especially important topic for the rapid and sustainable development of the country in the current period. The Prime Minister also highly appreciated the frank, enthusiastic, responsible and practical comments of the delegates, representatives of workers, enterprises and researchers, many of which contributed very positively, providing good models, good practices, especially proposing and recommending profound and specific solutions to improve labor productivity.
The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, agencies and localities to fully synthesize recommendations, proposals and suggestions from union members and workers; focus on reviewing and absorbing to the maximum to perfect mechanisms, policies, related legal regulations and improve the effectiveness of implementation... to create the best ecological environment for workers to promote creativity, innovation, patriotism and love for their profession.
For Lao Cai province, there is one worker who was honored to be selected to attend the forum. That is Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, a worker of Bat Xat District Water Supply Branch, Lao Cai Province Water Supply Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam is an outstanding worker in the emulation movement “Good worker, creative worker” of the province. From the practical tasks assigned, he has actively learned, proposed many technical solutions and initiatives to benefit the production and business of clean water of the unit; for many consecutive years, he has been evaluated by his superiors for excellently completing his tasks.
At the forum, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam was one of 95 workers honored, commended and rewarded by the organizers.
