ZaloPay cooperates with CIMB to launch 'Savings Deposit' product

Savings Deposit is an online term deposit product provided by CIMB Bank Vietnam through the ZaloPay platform. The product was launched with outstanding interest rates, among the top in the market today with 3 attractive levels: 5.9%, 6% and 6.1%/year corresponding to terms of 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. CIMB Bank Vietnam agrees to fully repay the principal and interest to customers on the maturity date.

Savings is a deposit product of CIMB Bank Vietnam on ZaloPay platform.

In addition to the attractive interest rate, the Savings Deposit product in collaboration between ZaloPay and CIMB Bank Vietnam also allows users to flexibly withdraw the principal in part, with no limit on the number of withdrawals during the term and without fear of losing interest. The early withdrawal portion is applied the non-term interest rate applied to the payment account at the time of withdrawal. The remaining principal is still applied the term interest rate as initially agreed, thereby ensuring financial benefits for customers.

Ms. Le Lan Chi - General Director of ZaloPay said: "ZaloPay expects that Savings Deposit will be a useful tool to help customers optimize their personal savings. Flexibility in withdrawing each portion of the principal helps customers feel more comfortable when saving and also proactively control cash flow in emergency situations".

To register for Savings on ZaloPay, users only need to follow simple steps such as:

1. Access the ZaloPay or ZaloPay application in Zalo. Then select Send Savings , complete the registration form and wait for CIMB Bank approval.
2. After the customer profile is verified by CIMB Bank, the user proceeds to choose a suitable savings package with terms of 6 months, 9 months or 12 months.
3. Enter deposit amount from 500,000 VND and select "Deposit".
4. Check the information and "Confirm" the transaction to complete.
