Boat carrying 3 "fishermen" sunk by waves at sea

On October 12, Squadron 32 (based in Khanh Hoa province) of Coast Guard Region 3 said that Coast Guard Ship 9033 of the unit coordinated with fishermen to successfully rescue 3 people in distress at sea.

Earlier, on the same morning, Squadron 32 received information that a fishing boat (without a registration number) had sunk at a location about 2km northwest of the squadron's port number 3.

Then, Squadron 32 directed Coast Guard Ship 9033 to quickly leave the port for rescue and relief operations.

The Coast Guard ship arrived at the location of the fishing boat in distress. The soldiers on board coordinated with fishermen fishing near the area to rescue 3 people to safety. At the same time, Ship 9033 also assisted in towing the distressed vehicle back to shore for repairs.

According to the victim, at 7:30 a.m. on October 12, three people from Khanh Hoa province used a boat to leave Hon Khoi port to go fishing. An hour later, the group of "fishermen" encountered a thunderstorm, large waves overturned the boat and the people into the sea.
