Green cars appear in most segments
With a series of pure electric and hybrid car models launched in 2023, eco-friendly cars have now covered many segments and price ranges in the Vietnamese market, including both popular and luxury.
First of all, there was the emergence of a completely new segment - mini electric cars, with Wuling Hongguang Mini EV being the first name introduced in the middle of the year. Not long after that, VinFast announced information and the first images of VF 3, before displaying this model at the exhibition taking place in early July.

At the same time, according to some sources, the VinFast VF 7 C-SUV model will likely be introduced at the end of November, start accepting deposits from the beginning of December and deliver the first batch of cars before Lunar New Year 2024 if production progress is on schedule.

However, electric buses currently account for about 2.8% of the total number of buses nationwide and are assessed to have great room for development.
