The process of international integration in cinema is taking place strongly, promoting foreign investment capital into the Vietnamese film industry. Theater systems with modern infrastructure, machinery and technical equipment meeting international standards have been built in many major cities across the country. The number of popular foreign films shown in Vietnamese theaters has also increased sharply, the trend of producing remakes of famous foreign films has developed and initially achieved success in revenue. In addition, some films with multi-dimensional perspectives, reflecting family and social life, made in an attractive form, capable of conveying positive messages to the audience, having a good influence on social life have achieved high revenue and received the attention of a large audience, typically: "Nha Ba Nu" with a revenue of more than 430 billion VND; "Lat Mat 6: The fateful ticket" earned 273 billion VND; "Mai" achieved a revenue of more than 500 billion VND; "Flip Side 7" - a wish (2024) with a revenue of more than 482 billion VND,... has motivated filmmakers to continue producing new breakthrough films.
In particular, implementing Decision No. 316/QD-BVHTTDL dated February 6, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on promulgating the Plan for pilot distribution and dissemination of a number of films using the state budget, 08 films with ticket sales, including: 02 feature films: "Dao, Pho and Piano" and "Hong Ha nu si"; animated films: "Ba cua Do Do", "Cai tai cua cau Am", "Nguoi hung", "Gia gia giach su", "Co be toc cuong", "Gia mo cua con" were disseminated from February 10, 2024 to March 30, 2024. Accordingly, the total revenue of films from the National Cinema Center and 16 Cinema Complexes up to the end of March 2024, is the film "Dao, Pho and Piano": 22,735,020,000 VND (the film was 100% funded by the State and achieved the highest revenue in recent years); Film "Hong Ha Nu Si": 203,275,000 VND; "Cluster of animated films": 12,920,000 VND.

The 2022 Cinema Law has brought about positive changes, achieved encouraging results and marked an important development step for Vietnamese cinema. However, to truly become a "new destination" for world cinema, we need to continue to invest and upgrade technological infrastructure and modern studios that meet international standards to meet the needs of domestic and international film production. Strengthen cooperation with the world's leading film academies to train screenwriters, directors and technical experts to develop human resources and search for film talents. Promote and cooperate with international filmmakers to produce works and film projects using the main setting in Vietnam.
In addition, it is necessary to develop a strategy to promote excellent works on digital and online platforms and strengthen connections with international film distributors to ensure that Vietnamese films have the opportunity to be released in major cinemas around the world. Continue to exploit historical and cultural stories to convey the characteristics of the land, culture and people of Vietnam to create unique cinematic works.
In addition, it is necessary to build a community of audiences and a culture of cinema. Promote film education by integrating film knowledge into the curriculum to raise awareness and love of cinema for the younger generation. Promote media campaigns so that people support Vietnamese cinema and watch Vietnamese films.
It can be said that the potential for developing Vietnamese cinema is huge. What remains is how to make the film market continue to reach new heights, grow rapidly, and become one of the pillars of the cultural industry that needs the support and attention of the state, investors, and domestic audiences.
