Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center, located in Phu Nghia Commune (Bu Gia Map District, Binh Phuoc Province), is responsible for receiving and providing multi-functional treatment for female drug addicts on a voluntary and compulsory basis. The center includes a spacious office block for staff and 5 student management areas.
According to Mr. Ho Van Meo - Director of Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center, the facility has a management scale of 1,500 - 2,000 students, currently managing and treating 400 students. The facility always pays great attention and strictly follows regulations right from the steps of receiving, screening, evaluating, arranging and classifying rooms for students.

In addition, the nutritional regime in each student's meal is always focused on and ensures both quality and quantity. The input food source will be strictly inspected by specialized units, ensuring food safety and hygiene and food samples will be stored every day according to regulations.
To provide the best health care for each student, the facility has assigned medical staff to examine and treat students at the infirmary. Students with serious illnesses will be taken to Nhan Ai Hospital for treatment. In addition, the facility also organizes morning physical therapy exercises for students to increase their resistance and improve their health.
Mr. Ho Van Meo said that every month and every quarter, the facility will organize specialized exchanges at the student management areas. The content of the topics will be related to the rights and responsibilities of students, disseminating knowledge about drugs, knowledge about health care for patients, education on relapse prevention skills, education on personality and lifestyle, and topics on legal knowledge, education on personality and behavior to adjust the students' deviant and substandard thinking and living concepts.
Food input for the student kitchen is strictly inspected by specialized units; after processing, samples are kept daily.
In addition, creating conditions for employees and students to have fun and entertainment in the afternoons and Sundays every week in the 2 management areas, karaoke singing, watching movies, etc. will be organized and other programs will be organized such as reading stories late at night, legal stories, good words and ideas, good people and good deeds, women's column, health column, music gifts, etc. On holidays and Tet, the facility will organize a civilized office competition, combined with organizing many folk games, arts, sports, etc.
To effectively implement plan No. 5222/LĐTBXH of the City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Facility continues to launch a competition to build a healthy cultural environment and solidarity between departments and areas.

Responding to the Patriotic Emulation Movement launched by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City and celebrating the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Facility has renovated the working area, implemented the planning of fruit gardens, ornamental gardens, and beauty, and launched each employee to plant and care for at least one tree. Stone benches are arranged under the trees to create a cool, fresh resting area for staff and students.
In compliance with Directive 19-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Facility also regularly propagates and mobilizes civil servants, public employees and workers to actively participate in environmental protection at the unit.
Up to now, 100% of the staff and workers working at the Facility have committed to keeping the environment clean, saying no to plastic waste and nylon bags. Each student's room is equipped with a trash can, and students are assigned to clean and sweep the rooms and other areas, and a general cleaning is organized every Sunday.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders encouraged students to be mentally strong, determined, and courageous to successfully quit drugs, stay away from bad environments to avoid relapse, and become useful people for their families and communities.
Through that, Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center has built and maintained the facility's campus to be clean, beautiful and airy, improving the working efficiency of staff and workers. Helping students feel secure in studying and practicing, shortening the time for successful drug rehabilitation.
“A green, beautiful, airy living environment will help students feel comfortable, which will bring about the effectiveness of drug addiction treatment. Therefore, in recent years, the Center has always focused on building a friendly treatment facility with a green, clean, and beautiful environment,” the Center Director affirmed.
Previously, during a visit to Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vo Van Hoan highly appreciated the activities of Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center, especially in taking care of students; at the same time, he hoped that Phu Nghia Drug Rehabilitation Center would pay attention to students, helping them feel secure and complete their studies well at the center.
