On September 30, the Government Office issued a document conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on the organization of investment in the construction of the new Phong Chau bridge on National Highway 32C connecting Tam Nong district with Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province.

The document stated that Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha agreed to invest in the construction of the new Phong Chau bridge according to the regulations on emergency construction works in Article 130 of the Construction Law.

On the morning of September 30, vehicles were allowed to pass through the temporary pontoon bridge replacing Phong Chau bridge (Phu Tho province) after Brigade 249, Engineering Corps completed the installation and technical inspection.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport to preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of Construction, Justice, Planning and Investment, Finance and the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to advise the Prime Minister on the authorization plan as proposed by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province or assign the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to act as the investment management agency in emergency cases according to the provisions of law, ensuring the completion of the project no later than 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport to urgently propose capital from the central budget to invest in the construction of the new Phong Chau bridge.

These matters must be reported to the Prime Minister before October 5.
