The Mekong Green SM joint venture will provide repair services for both traditional gasoline vehicles and modern electric vehicles. The goal is to meet the nationwide vehicle maintenance needs of both large enterprises and individuals. The plan is to have 99 locations by the end of 2025, starting with the conversion of 39 existing Mekong Green repair shops to the new model.
In particular, this workshop network will operate in parallel with VinFast's 80 service workshops, ensuring fast and efficient service for customers nationwide. Mr. Ho Huy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mai Linh Group, emphasized that this cooperation will take advantage of Mai Linh's long-standing experience along with advanced technology from Xanh SM.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, General Director of GSM Global Company, said that Xanh SM has been present in 55 provinces and cities and cooperated with more than 40 transport enterprises in franchising electric taxis. The cooperation with Mekong Xanh not only improves service quality but also promotes the benefits of electric vehicles in environmental protection.
The Mekong Green SM joint venture will support transport businesses in improving service quality and reducing maintenance and operating costs. This chain of workshops will also play an important role in supporting drivers to switch from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles, contributing to building a civilized and environmentally friendly transport community.
This partnership will not only boost the Vietnamese automotive industry but also accelerate the green transition, bringing long-term benefits to the environment and the economy. This large-scale repair shop network will become an indispensable part of the electric vehicle and modern transportation ecosystem in Vietnam.
