Five years ago, the escape from poverty of Le Van Ha's family (Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa) seemed very far away, because the land for production was small, and he and his wife mainly worked as hired laborers. The work was unstable, irregular, and the income was not enough to support his elderly parents and young children, making difficulties pile up on difficulties.
Then, with the support of World Vision International in Vietnam (WVIV), his family was provided with breeding animals and attended training courses on livestock farming techniques to plan and practice sustainable farming methods. In addition, he was also guided to participate in Transformative Savings groups to build savings habits, plan crops, and prevent risks.
Thanks to that, not only has his family's income improved significantly, but his family's ability to adapt to future uncertainties has also been significantly enhanced.
