Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2024 will take place from April 11-14 at the ICE International Exhibition Center - Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace, with many exciting trade activities and tourism events.

VITM Fair will create opportunities for Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to promote their brands, introduce products and develop tourism business relationships; promote growth in all three types of tourism: bringing Vietnamese tourists abroad (Outbound), rapidly increasing the number of international tourists to Vietnam (Inbound) and continuing to develop domestic tourism, contributing to the goal of accelerating recovery, accelerating Vietnam tourism effectively and sustainably in the spirit of Resolution 82/NQ-CP of the Government.
At VITM Hanoi this year, there will be many exciting activities, typically commercial activities with more than 450 booths, of which 25% are international booths, tourism businesses and destination management agencies will introduce and provide products directly to tourists and partner businesses.
It is expected that about 3,500 Vietnamese and international businesses will come to work and about 80,000 Vietnamese and international visitors will come to visit and buy products at the Fair.
Besides commercial activities, the fair will have tourism promotion activities, local activities, art performances, etc.
The highlight of the event will be the Forum “Vietnam Tourism - Green Transformation for Sustainable Development” organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and UNDP on the morning of April 12.
Here, about 200 - 300 delegates attended, including representatives of state management agencies, domestic and international tourism experts, tourism business leaders, as well as destination management agencies, media agencies..., to exchange and discuss raising awareness and green transformation solutions for Vietnam tourism; building effective linkage and coordination mechanisms to mobilize resources for green transformation in the tourism sector; realizing initiatives to approach and expand the market for green tourism business models...

This year's event also has special significance as 2024 is the year the tourism industry aims for a comprehensive recovery after the pandemic, and is also the year Vietnam tourism promotes international tourism, building and positioning the Vietnamese tourism brand in the international market.
