The Hydro-Meteorological Agency forecasts that on April 19 and 20, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius, in some places over 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 50-55%.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen is hot, some places are extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly is at 45-50%.
The Central Highlands and the South have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 36 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 55-60%.
In addition, the Northern Delta region has localized heat with the highest temperature in some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
Warning: On April 21-22, the heat wave is likely to spread to the entire North. The heat wave in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen is likely to last until around April 22. From around April 23-24, the heat wave in this area is likely to ease. The heat wave in the South is likely to last for many days to come.
