According to information from Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott), in the 1,239th drawing of Mega 6/45 product taking place tonight (August 18), Vietlott's Drawing Council found 1 lottery ticket winning the Jackpot prize worth 15,056,391,500 VND.
The Jackpot winning ticket in the 1,239th drawing of Mega 6/45 product contains the lucky numbers: 04 - 13 - 28 - 33 - 35 - 38.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance, lucky customers who win the jackpot will have to pay 10% personal income tax.
Thus, the customer who won the Jackpot today will have to pay more than 1.5 billion VND in personal income tax to the local budget that issued the winning Mega 6/45 lottery ticket. After fulfilling the tax obligation, the Jackpot winner will receive a net amount of more than 13.5 billion VND.
In addition to the Jackpot prize worth over 15 billion VND mentioned above, in the 1,239th drawing of the Mega 6/45 product taking place today, Vieltott's drawing council also found 30 first prizes with each prize worth 10 million VND, 1,213 second prizes with each prize worth 300,000 VND and 18,382 third prizes with each prize worth 30,000 VND.
The winner has 60 days from the date of announcement to claim the prize. After this period, the prize will be forfeited and added to Vietlott's other income category.
Recently, Vietlott has continuously found players who have won Jackpot 1 and 2 with large values. There are prizes up to tens and hundreds of billions of VND.
Since the beginning of July, in just nearly 2 months, Vietlott has found 18 winning lottery tickets for Jackpot 1 and 2 in both Power 6/55 and Mega 6/45, with a total value of more than 410 billion VND.
