After 4 years since its first launch in 2020, VCB Digibank has become familiar to most customers in Vietnam with nearly 13 million regular customers, processing more than 6 million transactions per day. To accelerate the next stage of development, Vietcombank has focused resources on launching the new generation of VCB Digibank with a focus on innovating experiences and enhancing personalization.

Inspired by a smart home, emphasizing personalization and convenience in use, the new generation of VCB Digibank helps users easily access familiar features in an easy, “less-touch” way, while suggesting users to explore and learn about attractive products and services through each delicate touchpoint on each journey.

Based on research on the needs and behaviors of each customer segment, the new generation of VCB Digibank is a unified platform with interface and experience versions suitable for each different customer segment:

- Standard interface (for all customers) is modern, simple, optimized in every operation with "Glassmorphism" design style.

- Priority interface (for Priority customers) uses the "Hollywood Glam" design language with neoclassical motifs and dark mode, providing a luxurious and sophisticated experience.

- The YouPro interface (for the young customer segment) is inspired by the "metaverse world" with three-dimensional space patterns, strong contrasting colors and many "unconventional" elements, bringing different experiences for the first time on the market. This is a gift from Vietcombank to the young, individualistic, ambitious and passionate generation of customers - the YouPro Generation.

The YouPro interface is also the first step for a series of products and services for the "YouPro Generation" that will be launched by Vietcombank in the near future.

Many features "land" for the first time on VCB Digibank

Not only upgraded in interface and user experience, the new version of VCB Digibank also adds many attractive features and utilities that customers are looking forward to:

- “One-touch” money transfer: Automatically identify recipient/recipient bank information and process money transfer transactions in the most appropriate and optimal way (customers do not have to choose Transfer money within/outside Vietcombank system/fast money transfer 24/7 as before).

- Personal finance management: Automatically record and classify income/expenditure according to established categories and warn when spending exceeds budget. Income and expenditure information is simplified through intuitive, vivid charts.

- Group management: Create group lists, share bills with group members and automatically remind members to pay their debts.

- Share balance change notifications via OTT messages: Share account balance change notifications with people on the list. This is a very convenient feature for shop owners and business people.

- Emergency customer support: Integrate the call center function on domestic money transfer transaction screens to promptly support customers during the transaction process. Customers just need to press the call button to contact Vietcombank call center via free internet connection.

How to experience the new VCB Digibank

To experience the new generation of VCB Digibank, customers using the service only need to update the latest application version on the App Store and Play Store. New customers registering for VCB Digibank from June 18, 2024 will be using the new version by default and can choose their favorite interface immediately after successfully activating the service.

30.6 billion VND gifts for new customers registering for VCB Digibank

On the occasion of launching the new generation of VCB Digibank, Vietcombank gives 50,000 VND (transfer money) to customers who activate the service for the first time and have at least two financial transactions worth 100,000 VND/transaction (excluding money transfers) on VCB Digibank.

In addition, customers also receive hundreds of thousands of 50% discount codes when using services on VCB Digibank including: VNPAY Taxi, VNSHOP Shopping and Movie Ticket Booking.

Total value of gifts for customers up to 30.6 billion VND.
