(CLO) The Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony at Phan Ri Cua Temple, Tuy Phong District takes place annually on the 10th day of the third lunar month, but the grand ceremony is held every 5 years.
The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has just issued a plan to organize the Hung Kings' Commemoration Festival in 2025.
This is an annual festival, aiming to return to the roots and ancestors; creating conditions for people and tourists to attend, respectfully offer incense to express gratitude to the Hung Kings who built the country and our ancestors who defended the country.

Accordingly, the Hung King Commemoration Festival 2025 will be organized by Binh Thuan province at the Hung King Temple (Phan Ri Cua town, Tuy Phong district).
This year, the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival takes place on April 7, hosted by Tuy Phong District. Phan Thiet City and Ham Tan District are the two localities participating in the commemoration.
During the ceremony, relics and religious establishments in Phan Ri Cua town will organize a procession to welcome the ancestors to Hung King Temple on the morning of April 7 (March 10, At Ty year).
Then there was the offering of Chung cake, Day cake and incense offering in memory of the Hung Kings at Hung King Temple; the Great Sacrifice ceremony according to traditional customs.
As for the festival, there will be folk games, cultural and sports activities with the participation of some localities in Binh Thuan province.
Hung King's death anniversary has long been an important anniversary of the whole nation; deeply imprinted in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
In Binh Thuan province, Hung King Temple in Phan Ri Cua town is the only place that still maintains its name, function, and main worship content, which is the Hung Kings.
The temple was built with contributions from local people and completed in the 12th year of Tu Duc (1859). This is the only temple to worship the National Ancestor in Binh Thuan that still preserves quite fully the values of tangible and intangible culture.
