Vietcombank supports Da Nang city with 5 billion VND to eliminate temporary houses

On the evening of April 13, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) Da Nang Branch held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung.

After 50 years of establishment and development, up to now, the total assets of the Branch have reached nearly 30,000 billion VND, ranking 33rd/131 branches in the entire Vietcombank system and 2nd in Da Nang city; is a credit institution that is providing capital to nearly 12,000 corporate customers and more than 355,000 individual customers; contributing 35% of the international payment market share and 25% of the banking service market share in Da Nang city. These figures are not only achievements, but also vivid evidence of the solidarity, creativity and tireless working spirit of VCB Da Nang staff through generations.

In recognition of the unit's contributions, on this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded a Certificate of Merit; the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee awarded a Flag recognizing 50 years of construction and development to the collective of Vietcombank Da Nang and especially to recognize outstanding achievements in the period of 2023 - 2024.

On this occasion, Vietcombank Da Nang donated 5 billion VND to Da Nang city to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses./.
