Introducing Vietnam, Travel+Leisure travel magazine "In a country so rich in culture and history, foreigners fall in love with Vietnam. It has both beaches and mountains, with surprisingly cool weather in some areas, there is plenty to explore and many major cities to choose from. Vietnam also has a low cost of living and is a popular destination for many other expats," wrote the author.
In addition, the American travel magazine also introduced Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with their unique cuisine and architectural styles. In particular, Ho Chi Minh City has many more Western-style neighborhoods, attracting many foreign visitors.
According to InterNations data, 80% of expats in Vietnam are satisfied with the cost of living and the country is ranked in the top 10 on the Ease of Settling in Index. Many also say it is easy to make friends with both locals and expats in Vietnam.
