Ms. Tho said that the yellow apricot tree grows completely naturally and blooms right on the occasion of Lunar New Year every year.

The apricot tree has classic five-petal yellow flowers. Currently, the classic yellow apricot tree has many green buds and some new flowers, the tree will bloom just in time for Tet. When the flowers bloom bright yellow, there will be a faint fragrance every early morning.
According to Ms. Tho, in 2021, someone paid 2.5 billion VND to own 2 yellow apricot trees in her house, of which this large apricot tree with 5 classic-style petals costs nearly 2 billion.
However, Ms. Tho's family members did not agree to sell because this yellow apricot tree has been with the family for many years.
