Hundreds of beautiful apricot trees show off their shapes at "Hue Apricot Festival 2025"

(Fatherland) - In its third year, the Hue Royal Apricot Festival continues to attract the attention of a large number of locals and tourists to visit and enjoy.

From January 16 to 26, 2025, at Thuong Bac Park (Hue City), the 3rd Hue Royal Apricot Festival 2025 took place. The festival was organized to contribute to promoting the image of Royal Apricot, effectively implementing the contents of the Project "Building Hue to become the land of Royal Apricot in Vietnam" from now to 2030.

According to the Organizing Committee, this is also an important highlight activity, starting a series of Spring Festival events following the Four Seasons Festival orientation. Within the framework of the festival, there will be contents such as: Displaying and exhibiting Hue apricot works; organizing the contest "Hue apricot - Spring masterpiece 2025"; exchange programs, sharing experiences, skills, and techniques in growing and caring for apricot; Organizing apricot auctions, lucky draws... In particular, this year is also the first year that the Festival organizes an additional space to introduce apricot products such as apricot varieties, apricot trees, bonsai apricots...

In its third year, the Hue Royal Apricot Festival has attracted positive responses from artisans of Royal Apricot Associations in Hue City; the number of participating works is also larger and of better quality. There are more than 200 of the most outstanding works by artisans and owners of apricot gardens participating in the exhibition and competition, and more than 300 works displayed in the commercial area of ​​the festival.

This year, although the weather was not favorable, causing many Hoang Mai trees to bloom late, many locals and tourists still came to visit and enjoy the beautiful, unique and strange old Mai trees.

In addition to the purpose of promoting the Hue yellow apricot brand; restoring and spreading the tradition of growing and playing with apricot of Hue people associated with the movement "Yellow apricot in front of the alley", the Hue yellow apricot festival has created a meaningful playground for those who love ornamental plants and Hue yellow apricot.
