On March 21, at Song Khoai Industrial Park - Amata City Ha Long, Quang Ninh province, Tamagawa Seiki held the inauguration ceremony of Tamagawa Vietnam Factory.

Tamagawa Factory in Amata City Ha Long has a total investment capital of more than 35.75 million USD, with a total land area of ​​more than 6.27 hectares. The factory specializes in manufacturing absolute angle detectors for electric car engines. The factory is expected to produce 14.49 million products/year. When the entire factory is put into operation, it will create 1,000 jobs for workers.

Tamagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd., a member of Tamagawa Seiki Group (Japan), was established in March 1938, specializing in researching, manufacturing and trading technology products for the defense, aerospace and space industries, factory automation equipment and automobiles.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that initially, the factory will focus on manufacturing and exporting angle sensors for automobiles. In the future, Tamagawa Vietnam will expand its product portfolio based on global market trends. Tamagawa Seiki identifies Tamagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd. as the center of the Group's global strategy, thereby expanding production and distribution activities around the world.

“We will make every effort to develop this plant into a world-leading manufacturing facility in the field of servo sensors and drive components,” emphasized Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto.

The Tamagawa factory in Amata City Ha Long industrial park marks Tamagawa Seiki's seventh factory and will become one of Tamagawa's four main production centers.

Representatives of the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority (QEZA) and delegates visited the factory's operations.

Tamagawa Seiki's major partners include: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Fuji Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, NEC, Toshiba, Hitachi, Matsushita Electronics, Toyota, Honda, Japan Ministry of Defense, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company, the investor of Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park infrastructure, said: “Currently, the industrial park has attracted 20 investment projects with a total capital of nearly 3 billion USD. We are always committed to creating all conditions to accompany, support, and stand side by side with businesses during the construction process, as well as providing good services when the factory comes into operation to together create good values ​​for society, contributing to the development of the locality”.

Previously, on March 18, at Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, the first phase of the Lite-On Quang Ninh Factory officially started construction. This is one of the important high-tech industrial projects in Quang Ninh, with a total investment of up to 690 million USD, invested by Lite-On Technology Group.

The factory will specialize in manufacturing computer electronic components, optical equipment, lighting equipment, communication equipment, cameras, electric vehicle chargers and other consumer electronics.

Currently, Quang Ninh has issued investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates for 9 projects to build and operate industrial park infrastructure, with a total area of ​​over 3,824 hectares. Of which, 2,719 hectares have been cleared. To date, 8 industrial park projects have been assigned and leased by the Provincial People's Committee with an area of ​​over 1,941 hectares, with the occupancy rate of secondary projects in these industrial parks reaching over 76%.

It is expected that by 2025, the demand for labor recruitment in industrial parks in Quang Ninh province will reach about 16,000 people.
