The Final Round of the 1st Student Startup - Innovation Idea Competition of the Faculty of Finance - Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) took place with the competition of 10 teams.
The competition aims to find outstanding startup ideas, thereby incubating and turning potential projects into practical applications.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung, Head of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, spoke at the contest.
Sharing at the contest, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Van Tung, Head of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, said that the contest is a useful playground, helping students learn and practice many skills, especially teamwork skills.
In addition, this is an opportunity for students to develop their creativity, apply the skills and knowledge they have learned to come up with ideas with startup potential.
" Students will have the opportunity to learn and apply good things about startups in practice, thereby developing their passion more conveniently. Along with that, excellent projects will be nurtured and supported to connect with investors for implementation," said Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Tung.
Taking on the role of "holding the scales of justice" are Mr. Nguyen Dang Hien - Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Tan Quang Minh BIDRICO Production and Trading Company Limited; Mr. Nguyen Phuc Khoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Livestock Industry Corporation (VISSAN); Mr. Tran Trieu Quan - Founder of Khoi Nghiep Channel Joint Stock Company; Ms. Dang Thi Truong An - CEO of Hoa Nang Organic Rice; Mr. Nguyen Duy Thinh - Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department.

In the end, with the idea of creating an online recruitment channel to help students and businesses more easily interview and recruit, the Tuyendungvn.com project has excellently won the First Prize of this year's competition.
Second Prize belongs to NAF E-commerce Platform project and Organic Rice Cake project.
Support Sell Omnichannel project and Double S'pay e-Wallet project won Third Prize.
The Encouragement Prize includes 5 projects: Vietnamese Health, Greenhouse K Coffee, Shopping Bags, Vegetarian Restaurant and Viet Holiday's.
The first prize winning project Tuyendungvn.com has outstanding features such as: Allowing companies to schedule interviews directly on the website and app, including information such as company information, interview date and time, applicant name, and interview link.
After the interview is over, candidates and recruiting companies can give feedback, review, comment and evaluate through tuyendungvn.com's evaluation system. Data on the level of comments, reputation and reliability of both parties will be made public on their personal pages. At the same time, allowing other candidates or recruiting companies to view and decide whether to choose that candidate or company or not.
