According to journalist Tran Trong Dung, the application of AI and ChatGPT is an inevitable trend taking place strongly in all economic and social fields today. The press and media must proactively innovate their delivery methods and create products that bring new experiences to readers through digital technology applications.
The application of AI, especially ChatGPT, has been posing many opportunities and challenges, especially for journalists and managers. For that reason, through this course, students will be equipped with important knowledge, which will be effectively applied in practice in their units.
The course took place over 2 days (from January 25 to 26), with journalist Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Digital News Content Department - Ho Chi Minh City Television, instructing nearly 50 students who were reporters and editors from 18 newspapers and radio stations in the Southern region.
Students will be introduced to the capabilities of AI and its application in published press products. At the same time, they will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of AI, thereby creating efficiency in applying this technology to their work. After grasping the content of AI applications, students will directly participate in practicing the application of this new technology to produce press products.
