At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) approved the draft decisions. As of 2023, the Provincial People's Committee has allocated land to 174 religious establishments with an area of 150.32 hectares (including agricultural land); according to Clause 4, Article 213 of the 2024 Land Law, the Provincial People's Committee shall, based on the actual needs of religious activities and the local land fund capacity, prescribe the quota and decide on the land area allocated to religious organizations and affiliated religious organizations in the province. Based on the proposal of the district level, the DONRE drafted a Decision regulating the quota of land allocation to religious organizations and affiliated religious organizations in the province. Regarding the Draft Decision regulating the limits of residential land allocation, recognition of residential land, limits of agricultural land allocation when recognizing land use rights, receiving transfer of agricultural land use rights in the province, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has deployed to collect opinions from agencies and units to include in the draft detailed regulations on land allocation limits.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities focused on discussing and clarifying issues that still have inconsistent opinions, such as: Limits on land allocation in rural areas, recognition of land use rights for cases of land use before October 15, 1993; area for construction of works directly serving agricultural production; land allocation, change of land use purpose to residential land or recognition of residential land; cases where land plots cannot be divided; minimum area and size allowed for land plot division for non-agricultural land of households and individuals...
Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts and proactiveness of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the active participation of departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities in contributing to the development and completion of the draft regulations. He assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to absorb the contents and opinions at the working session; continue to collect opinions from relevant units; at the same time, summarize the difficulties and obstacles in the actual implementation in localities, agencies and units that need to be revised and supplemented to ensure the feasibility and ease of implementation of the decision. Receive and complete the draft, strive to complete it and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for early promulgation to unify and synchronize the implementation of the Land Law locally.
