At the final round of the 2023 National Youth Football Tournament, U13 Song Lam Nghe An under the leadership of coach Le Manh Huy won the championship convincingly with an all-win record, scoring 24 goals and conceding no goals.

In addition to the prestigious championship trophy, U13 Song Lam Nghe An also won the title of top scorer Pham Nguyen Tuan Anh with 9 goals and best player Hoang Anh Tuan. In addition, 4 U13 Song Lam Nghe An players were included in the list of typical lineup of the tournament including: Bui Van Tu, Pham Nguyen Tuan Anh, Hoang Anh Tuan and Nguyen Hong Quan.

After winning the championship, on the afternoon of July 17, U13 Song Lam Nghe An moved to Vinh City. Here, U13 Song Lam Nghe An was welcomed by the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province and the leadership of Song Lam Nghe An football club as well as a large number of fans from Ben Thuy bridge, paraded through the main streets, and offered flowers and incense to report their achievements to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, gave compliments and best wishes to the athletes and coaching staff, and acknowledged the efforts of the whole team to overcome difficulties to achieve the highest results in this tournament.

"I hope we cannot rest on our laurels. The whole team needs to continue to strive and make more efforts to achieve greater achievements in the future," said Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh presented a symbolic plaque of VND 360 million to U13 Song Lam Nghe An. Sponsors Eurosun Vietnam and the Youth Union of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company also presented gifts to the best player of the tournament, Hoang Anh Tuan, who is in extremely difficult circumstances.
