Street parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation - National Reunification of Be Ngoan Kindergarten.

From school programs such as “Little Soldier Week” to many families proactively taking their children to visit museums, taking souvenir photos in military uniforms or shirts with red flags and yellow stars... all have contributed to arousing in children's souls patriotism, national pride and awareness of history from familiar things.

In the joy of the whole country towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 * April 30, 2025), Be Ngoan Kindergarten (Viet Tri City) organized "Little Warrior Week" with many exciting experiential activities, helping children love their homeland more and be proud of national traditions.

Right from the early morning of the first day of the week, the children of Be Ngoan Kindergarten put on their military uniforms, hats, backpacks, and held the red flag with yellow star, becoming adorable "little soldiers". Their small steps on the street are a symbol of the future generation of the country, the young shoots growing up in peace, studying and playing under the sky of freedom.

Children of Be Ngoan Kindergarten had a very useful tour at Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri City.

Besides the parade, the students of the school also visited the Hung Vuong Museum in Viet Tri City. Here, they listened to heroic stories about the nation's origins, observed valuable artifacts with their own eyes and felt national pride through close and vivid experiences.

Ms. Vu Thanh Nga - Owner of Mam Non Be Ngoan, Viet Tri City emphasized: “Through the Little Warriors Week, we hope that children understand the historical significance of April 30 - May 1, thereby nurturing gratitude and national pride. This is also an opportunity to practice discipline and team spirit, while helping parents clearly see the confidence and dynamism of their children. For us, education is not only in books, but also in every step children take to explore life.”

The "future buds" were photographed by their parents in navy-style costumes at the Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri City.

The spirit of looking back to history and showing gratitude to the previous generations is not only shown through activities in schools but also attracts the attention of many families. On this occasion, many parents also take their children to take souvenir photos in traditional costumes or military uniforms, as a way to educate children about patriotism and national pride.

Ms. Duong Thu Thuy (Viet Tri City) said: “I have prepared and taken a set of photos for my child in a soldier’s uniform and a red flag with a yellow star. My child is still young and may not fully understand the profound historical significance, but I believe that these first images will instill in him the first feelings of national pride. When he grows up, he will remember that he had a meaningful childhood, living in peace and freedom.”

Taking photos of her daughter next to the airplane and tank on display in the Hung Vuong Museum, Ms. Thanh Nhan (Viet Tri City) shared: “I want to educate my children to understand that today's life is the result of many hardships from the years our ancestors went through, so I chose the Hung Vuong Museum as a place to preserve moments for my children. I believe that activities like this will sow the seeds of patriotism in children's souls. So that tomorrow, they will not forget that they are Vietnamese, descendants of a heroic nation.”

Children were captured by their parents in emotional and proud moments celebrating April 30-May 1.

For many families, these simple photos are not only memories but also carry a sacred message, love for the Fatherland begins from the most familiar things. Photos of children wearing military uniforms, raising the flag, or standing at attention to salute the Fatherland... have been widely shared on social networks, contributing to spreading the spirit of patriotism in the community. These experiential activities, although small, have great significance in fostering love for the homeland in children.

Today’s young generation, even though they are still in kindergarten, have been and are being instilled with the seeds of patriotism from their first emotional experiences. That is how history continues to be preserved and written with pure hearts and steady steps for the future.
