On April 24, the Hue City Department of Tourism announced that it will organize the program "Hue - Culinary Capital" from April 29 to May 2, 2025 at Thuong Bac Park (Phu Xuan District, Hue City). This is one of the events within the framework of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 to perform, introduce and promote Vietnamese cuisine in general and Hue cuisine in particular to tourists and people in the city; thereby contributing to preserving, conserving and promoting the traditional values of Vietnamese cuisine.
Accordingly, the program "Hue - Culinary Capital" will be a place to exchange the culinary quintessence of Hue with other localities in the country, bringing the public and tourists a new perspective and interesting experiences about Hue cuisine in particular and other regions in general.
At the program, there will be promotional activities and culinary displays such as: salted rice, Van Cu noodles, Hue beef noodles... performed by famous culinary artists such as Folk culinary artist Mai Thi Tra, Folk artist Nguyen Van Tich, Vietnamese craft village culinary culture artist Tran Thi Loan...
Regional OCOP cuisine and specialties such as: squid rolls, squid fish rolls, artichoke pho, fried sticky rice, banh it cu lao pho, etc. will be performed by the skillful hands of chefs from the provinces and cities: Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dak Nong, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh.
In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy other unique delicacies from ethnic minorities in the highlands of Nam Dong (now Phu Loc), A Luoi and famous local restaurants and hotels.

Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of Hue City Department of Tourism, said that in addition to the participation of nearly 70 food stalls with activities of promoting, processing and displaying food, the program also includes attractive art performances and games at the food stalls. In particular, visitors will experience the 3D Food Exhibition using AR & Hologram technology, exploring the multi-sensory space of brands...

It is known that on this occasion, Hue City Department of Tourism will also launch "Hue Identity - Culinary Capital" at the opening ceremony of the event taking place on the evening of April 29, 2025.
