Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Many activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Liberation Day and the occasion of April 30 and May 1

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (April 27, 1975 - April 27, 2025), the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to organize commemorative activities, focusing on the Celebration Ceremony with the theme "50 years of triumphant song". On the occasion of April 30 and May 1 this year, the province also organized many attractive events to serve the people and tourists.

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (April 27, 1975 - April 27, 2025)

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to organize Commemorative activities, aiming to affirm the great historical significance of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the great victory of the resistance war against the US for national salvation; to propagate and educate the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance and self-reliance; to strengthen the people's belief in the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland. At the same time, to encourage all classes of people to actively implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, bringing the province and the whole country into the era of national development.

Main activities include: Meeting program for resistance fighters in Ba Ria - Vung Tau before April 30, 1975, scheduled to take place from 8:30-10:30, April 22 at Imperial Hotel, Vung Tau City.

The 50th Anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (April 27, 1975 - April 27, 2025), with the theme "50 years of triumphant song", is scheduled to take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on April 26, 2025 at Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria City). The event aims to affirm the great stature of the April 30, 1975 Victory in general and the victory of the army and people of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in particular in the struggle for national independence.

After the ceremony is a special art program, combining dramatization with modern technology such as drone light, 3D mapping, laser... recreating the heroic struggle of the nation and the development journey of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in the new era. The program consists of 3 parts: Unifying the country - New springs - Aspiration for strength. The ending is a high-altitude fireworks display, promising to bring sublime emotions and pride.

On this occasion, the Province also organized activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to those who participated in the resistance war in Ba Ria - Vung Tau before April 30, 1975; a ceremony to visit the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery; the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of key works and projects (starting the road connecting to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway; inauguration of the Park - Memorial House of People's Armed Forces Hero Vo Thi Sau)...

Series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize events for 3 days, from May 1 to May 3 in Vung Tau city (Lam Son Stadium) and Xuyen Moc district (Ho Tram Sea Square).

The event is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors, the event's activities also bring strong communication value, contributing to promoting the province's tourism image to domestic and foreign tourists. Participating in these activities are many famous domestic artists, at the same time, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Music Festival Program will open up opportunities to connect and cooperate with businesses in the fields of services, tourism, entertainment, creating a foundation for sustainable development for large-scale events in the future.

The event includes 02 main activities: the V-FEST ALLSTAR Grand Music Festival in Vung Tau City, taking place from 7:00 p.m. on May 1 at Lam Son Stadium, Vung Tau City. The music event brings together Vietnam's top music stars, bringing completely new hits. Combined with the exchange between artists and the audience, the presentation promotes the tourism image of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, communicated on many multimedia platforms to domestic and international viewers. With a magnificent 360-degree stage, combined with lighting effects, smoke and fire effects, mid-range electric fireworks, ... and modern sound and light. The music night is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors, creating an explosive atmosphere.

And the hot air balloon performance combining beer and music space, taking place for 2 days, from May 2 to May 3 at Ho Tram Sea Square, Xuyen Moc district. It is expected that there will be about 10 level 1 hot air balloons (6-7m in diameter) fixed on the ground for visitors to check-in; 10 other level 1 hot air balloons will be suspended (in favorable weather). In addition, there will be 2 level 7 hot air balloons (17-18m in diameter) flying at an altitude of 30-50m, serving guests to experience. During the 2 nights of May 2 & 3, at Ho Tram Sea Square, there will be a music space with the theme "Green Tourism" and "Sea Tourism" with many singers, DJs performing vibrantly along with a beer buffet space...
