Stefanos Tsitsipas said he was lucky to find his soulmate in Paula Badosa, a female tennis player who was once ranked number two in the world.
Rumors about Tsitsipas and Badosa began at Roland Garros when the Spaniard was in the stands cheering for his boyfriend. The couple later went public with their love on social media with photos of themselves together.

Tsitsipas confirmed the relationship ahead of this week's Halle Open. "I'm happy because I've never felt this kind of connection with anyone before," he said. "I'm lucky to have met Badosa at this point in my life. I get to do what I love with a woman who understands me completely."
Tsitsipas and Badosa were both born in 1997. The Greek tennis player said that his girlfriend has the same lifestyle, aspirations and goals. Badosa missed Roland Garros due to a spinal injury. The long break has caused the New York-born tennis player to drop out of the world's top 30. She was the world number two in April 2022.
Tsitsipas is ranked fifth in the world, but has yet to win a title this season. He lost the finals of the Australian Open and Barcelona Open. The 24-year-old admits he has not improved compared to previous seasons. When asked about the idea of changing coaches, he said: "I trust the team. I think there is no one better than my father. He has been there since I was 12. Neither of us is perfect, but we have a strong bond."
Tsitsipas has said he is working with former player Mark Philippoussis as an adviser. But this has not seemed to improve the Greek's form, with his shock second-round defeat at the hands of underdog Nicolas Jarry at the Halle Open.
Tsitsipas will be one of the top seeds at Wimbledon next month, but he has never been a favorite on grass. The nine-time ATP champion has won just once on the surface, and the furthest he has advanced at Wimbledon was the fourth round in 2018.
