Dismantling a gambling ring worth over 72 billion VND

(Dan Tri) - According to the police, the amount of money the subjects gambled was up to more than 200 million VND per day, the estimated transaction amount of this line was about more than 72 billion VND.

On the evening of December 25, Ha Giang Provincial Police announced that they had just dismantled a gambling ring that organized and gambled in the form of buying and selling lottery numbers in Ha Giang City. They then arrested and detained 7 subjects, confiscated many mobile phones and related documents.

According to the police, through initial investigation, it was determined that the amount of money used by the subjects for gambling transactions was up to more than 200 million VND per day. It is estimated that from the time it began operating until now, the transaction amount of this line is about more than 72 billion VND.

The case is being further investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department, Ha Giang Provincial Police.
