Deploying the first construction phase of Cho Moi

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of departments, branches and Bac Kan City People's Committee, were directly present at the site to inspect the progress and encourage the construction unit as well as the households who are actively clearing the site for the project.

People of Nong Thuong commune clean up their property and trees to hand over the site for the construction of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan expressway.

Speaking at the scene, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the local government and people in coordinating site clearance, and at the same time requested the construction unit, Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, to focus human resources and machinery to speed up progress right from the first days of the campaign.

Machinery has been gathered at the construction site by the construction unit.

The implementation of the first construction phase is not only a technical milestone but also demonstrates the high political determination of Bac Kan province in soon bringing this strategic expressway into reality.

The Cho Moi – Bac Kan route has a total length of nearly 29km. Of which, the expressway is about 28.4km long, the section connecting to National Highway 3B and connecting to Bac Kan – Ba Be Lake road is 0.4km long.

Bac Kan Province and the Investor, Project Management Board 2, Ministry of Construction, coordinate in work, remove difficulties and obstacles to speed up construction progress.

The route is invested with a scale of 4 lanes, roadbed width of 22m, design speed of 80km/h, the entire route has 18 bridges with a total length of nearly 5km. The project implementation time is 24 months, basically completed in 2026./.
