The State Securities Commission - Ministry of Finance and the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06) - Ministry of Public Security have just signed a Plan to coordinate the implementation of the "Project on Developing the application of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" (Project 06).
At the ceremony, Chairwoman of the State Securities Commission (SSC) Vu Thi Chan Phuong and Colonel Vu Van Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order - Ministry of Public Security signed the Plan of coordination to implement Project 06 between the SSC and the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order.
The plan focuses on implementing 3 main groups of tasks: First is to cross-check and verify information with the national database on population, clean up securities investor data and data of people granted securities practice certificates;
Second, connect and exploit the national population database, electronic identification and authentication system to serve the business activities of the Government Securities sector;
And the third is the application of citizen identification cards with electronic chips to identify information of stock investors.

According to Chairwoman of the State Securities Commission Vu Thi Chan Phuong, this Plan is an extremely important basis for close coordination between the two agencies in performing the tasks assigned by the Government and the Ministry of Finance.
With specific tasks detailed, assigned focal units, coordinating units and specific completion deadlines, the Plan will bring practical results to the Securities industry, contributing to the implementation of the goals of the National Digital Transformation Program in general as well as digital transformation of the securities industry in particular.

Colonel Vu Van Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order - Ministry of Public Security, said that currently, the National Population Database has connected with 15 ministries, branches, 01 state-owned enterprise, 03 telecommunications enterprises and 63 localities; has received over 1.3 billion requests for information lookup and verification to serve data cleaning and handling administrative procedures.
On behalf of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Colonel Vu Van Tan agreed on the detailed contents of the Plan, and at the same time, emphasized that the units participating in implementing the Plan must closely follow the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Security.
Colonel Vu Van Tan also said that the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order has assigned the National Population Data Center to coordinate with the Department of Information Technology - State Securities Commission to urgently unify the process and requirements for exploiting specific information, data cleaning plans for securities investors, people granted securities practice certificates, and research solutions for using VNeID accounts in opening and using securities accounts.
