Awarding the 45-year Party membership badge to comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh

NDO - On November 4, Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee attended the ceremony to present the 45-year Party membership badge organized by the District 1 Party Committee to Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Party member of Ward 7 Party Cell, Tan Dinh Ward Party Committee, District 1 on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the victory of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 - November 7, 2024).

On behalf of the city leaders, Comrade Nguyen Van Nen congratulated Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on receiving the Party Badge this time. Comrade Nguyen Van Nen emphasized that this is the Party's recognition of Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh's achievements and contributions to the Party and the country.

During his work, regardless of his position, he always upheld the exemplary spirit of a Party member, was loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People, wholeheartedly served the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, always excellently completed all assigned tasks; and was awarded many noble awards by the Party and the State.

Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh is a shining example for generations of young party members to learn from and follow. Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen hopes that Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh will continue to contribute to the development of the locality and Ho Chi Minh City. Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh expressed her honor, pride and happiness when receiving the 45-year Party membership badge this time.

Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said she will always comply with all State regulations, continue to promote traditions, contribute to building an increasingly developed country; be absolutely loyal to the Party, State and locality; always fulfill well the tasks assigned by the locality.

Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, from Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, was enlightened early and joined the revolution in 1974. In 1979, she was admitted to the Party.

During her revolutionary activities, comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was trusted by the Party and State to hold many important positions such as: Alternate member of the 10th Party Central Committee, member of the 11th and 12th Party Central Committees; National Assembly delegate of the 11th, 13th and 14th terms.

She has held the following positions: Vice President, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Population and Children's Committee; Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office. At the 11th Session of the 13th National Assembly, Comrade Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was elected Vice President.
