In early 2025, Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center put into operation a 10km river tour. The ticket to join this tour is more than 1 million VND (including meals).
Joining the tour, visitors will take a boat up the Son River, winding through majestic limestone mountains, vast corn fields in the middle of the valley. Discover the beauty of Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son Cave with a system of beautiful stalactites, created by nature over hundreds of millions of years.
On the journey, visitors will come to the tourist destination of Song Chay - Hang Toi, fully admire the natural beauty of the charming mountains and rivers and experience thrilling games such as 400m adventure zipline, mud bath and other games on the river, enjoy typical local dishes...
Some tourists said that the new tour of Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center is like "going 1 and getting 3", when they can experience many different tourism products at the same time. They can admire the natural beauty of Phong Nha - Ke Bang, explore Phong Nha and Tien Son caves, and enjoy adventurous games on the poetic stream in Chay River - Dark Cave.
Although it has just been put into operation, the upstream Son River tourist route in Phong Nha - Ke Bang has attracted a lot of tourists, especially international tourists.
"The feeling of sailing in the middle of the blue water, watching the sunset gradually disappear behind the mountains is wonderful. The scenery in Phong Nha impressed me, the caves are breathtakingly beautiful, this is a memorable trip," shared Adam, an Australian tourist.
Mr. Hoang Minh Thang, Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, said that in the process of operating the new tourist route, the unit aims for a Net zero model (net zero emissions) to avoid harming the environment. Through solutions to take nature as the core and reduce carbon emissions to achieve the Net zero goal in the tourism industry.
According to Mr. Thang, the center is looking for a consultant to design a boat model and overcome noise like an electric boat to serve tourists participating in this tourist route in the near future.
