Thanh Hoa City donates 3 billion VND to support people in the North affected by storm No. 3

On the morning of September 18, at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Thanh Hoa City presented 3 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial Relief Committee Pham Thi Thanh Thuy received support of 3 billion VND from Thanh Hoa City.

Attending the reception were comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial Relief Committee.

Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee Tran Anh Chung said: Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Thanh Hoa City wishes to contribute to helping households affected by storm No. 3 overcome difficulties, stabilize and improve their lives soon. In addition to the support fund of 3 billion VND through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, businesses, philanthropists and the city's people have also promptly transported many shipments of essential items to directly support people in flooded localities.

Speaking at the reception, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thanh Thuy sincerely thanked the sentiments of the cadres and people of Thanh Hoa City for supporting localities affected by storms and floods; at the same time, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive and timely response of the Party Committees and authorities of Thanh Hoa City, thereby creating consensus, enthusiastic response and responsibility of the cadres and people.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee pledged that this support source will be compiled, reported to the Provincial Party Standing Committee and consulted with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to allocate and support the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods in a timely, transparent and appropriate manner.
